A name or location entered in a search tool is sent directly to the third-party company that operates that feature. The provider processes the query and supplies its results. Saluda County Criminal History does not keep or log those search terms on its own systems.

An email or other direct message may be retained long enough to respond and maintain the related correspondence. It remains within the operating team unless disclosure is required by a valid legal obligation.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
Saluda County Criminal History does not keep, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal records. It publishes general directions to official custodians, including the Saluda County Sheriff's Office, county courts, South Carolina Law Enforcement Division Criminal Justice Information Services, and the South Carolina Sex Offender Registry Tool. The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Visitor information is not turned into a consumer report or a dossier about another person.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the search boxes. Information submitted through one of those tools falls under that provider's privacy policy. Each partner sets its own retention, processing, and disclosure rules, which are beyond this site's control. Review those terms before entering a query.
